Expanded selection of weighing bellows

When dust-free loading bulk materials, a flexible sleeve is used in the weighing and dosing equipment to create a tight connection.

In addition to the more traditional bellows, there are now a number of new options for flexible connectors which all comply with ECC 1935/2004 and FDA regulations. This makes weighing and dosing easier and safer.

As a first renewal, all original Euro Manchetten bellows are provided with an item number in the connection collar. This way each item is traceable and compliant with the important food safety standards. These new versions are also more flexible and have a smoother surface and higher finish quality.

In addition, the existing black antistatic bellow is now also compliant with FDA and EC1935 / 2004 foodstuffs regulations. Flexibility has been improved and the material is now also electrostatically conductive.

Because pressure plays a critical role in the weighing process, the line of fabric sleeves has been expanded with a sleeve of breathable material. This material is extremely flexible and has no fixed shape of its own nor any adjustment power. Therefore, it has no influence on the weighing result.

And because the material is breathable, overpressure or negative pressure cannot quickly build up. Moreover, PTFE, the fabric in question, is much easier to clean than traditional cotton or polyester fabric. By making use of thermoforming, there is now the possibility to make all kinds of Polyurethane bellows in small quantities. Previously, bellows could only be produced from 50 pieces but now each version, length and diameter can be created from 1 to 10 pieces.

We also make extensive use of a thinner Polyurethane that, in addition to being used for bellows, can also be used for a cylindrical sleeve, which creates a completely smooth flow profile. This can be produced per piece in any size and application. Thus this bellow is widely applicable and offers an innovation in situations where standard solutions are not sufficient.
