Quick-connect cuffs

For applications where the cuff needs to be disconnected frequently, we've developed Filcoflex quick-release cuffs. These cuffs are airtight, dustproof, and leakproof. Their smooth flow profile makes them ideal for easy cleaning in hygienic applications. All these properties extend the cuffs' service life.

Quick connect ferrules are available in three types:

  1. Jacob coupling, KMH, NORO
  2. S & W
  3. Tri-clamp

Filcoflex sleeves are easier and faster to install thanks to Quick-Connect or tri-clamp clamping rings. If necessary, Tool-Release/Bolt-Connect clamping rings can also be selected for employee safety. This is the case, for example, if the sleeve is installed near a rotary valve, screw conveyor, butterfly valve, mill, or other mechanical equipment.

Because cuffs are widely used in industries such as food industry of pharma The sleeves must meet the highest food safety standards according to FDA and ECC guidelines. To meet these standards, all our materials are specially developed and extensively tested by recognized institutes.

Cuffs for air technology

In air conditioning, sleeve connections play a key role in creating flexible, airtight connections between air ducts, fans, and air distribution systems. They provide a secure connection that effortlessly absorbs vibrations, temperature fluctuations, and pressure fluctuations. Thanks to their flexibility Sleeves prevent tension in the ductwork and contribute to quieter, more efficient airflow. Depending on the application, sleeves are made from materials such as rubber, PVC, or technical textile. Each material has specific properties for pressure, temperature, and medium. This makes the sleeve connections suitable for a wide range of applications, such as filter technology en climate control.

Which tasks and skills are truly crucial to success in this role and which baggage you can eliminate. transition sleeve of transition cuff The most suitable for your installation depends on the pressure, nature of the movement, and the temperature it must withstand. A transition sleeve, like a reducing sleeve, is used to flexibly and airtightly connect pipes or components of different diameters or shapes. Reducing sleeves are suitable for flexibly connecting drums on weigh cells, mixers, or dosing equipment to supply lines, discharge lines, or other forms of air transport or powder transport with different connection diameters. When connecting two different pipe diameters, it may be desirable to use a reducing sleeve, also known as a stepped bellows or tapered cuff. Because the tapered cuffs are seamless, they are airtight and dustproof. This makes them suitable for companies that operate according to strict hygiene standards.

We offer transition sleeves in silicone rubber and polyurethane. The main difference lies in the temperature range. For example, a silicone sleeve has a temperature range of -60°C to 200°C, while a polyurethane transition sleeve has a temperature range of -40°C to 90°C. We are happy to provide you with expert, personalized advice to ensure you purchase the right sleeve for your installation.

Cuffs for weighing and dosing

When weighing and dosing bulk goods Various equipment is used for processing powders and granules. To prevent environmental contamination or product contamination from outside, it is necessary to create a closed connection. A custom cuff seal could be the perfect solution here.

The connection must have little or no impact on the weighing process. Therefore, through a combination of flexible materials and custom design, we create a connection suitable for weighing applications. This flexible connection is also known as a weighing bellows or weighing collar.
