LFR – Tri-Clamp
LFR is a flexible connection provided with a pressed Tri-clamp coupling. Pressing stainless steel AISI 316L / DIN 1.4404 flanges on the flexible sleeve makes the entire connection airtight and gives a smooth flow profile.
Description
The Tri-clamp coupling is installed in the same manner as originally intended, with a replaceable gasket and a Tri-clamp for quick installation.
LFR can be used with a 2-bolt clamp or hinged clamp, with wing nuts, hex nuts, tool release or lock nuts for worker safety in hazardous applications, such as when the flexible connections are close to a rotary valve, screw conveyor, butterfly valve, mill or other mechanical equipment.
The flexible soft LFR connections are a great addition to the already extensive range of the modular Tri-clamp hose system.
The design of the method of pressing the flexible soft sleeve onto the Tri-clamp flanges allows us to produce the flexible sleeve in a wide variety of materials such as thermoplastics, rubbers and silicones, in thicknesses of 0,3mm, 1,0mm, 2,0mm and even 3,0mm.
By using a replaceable gasket ring on the flange, you can choose from a wide range of gasket materials for a variety of applications, even multi-material gaskets such as PTFE with a Viton inner ring.
By pressing stainless steel Tri-clamp flanges onto the flexible connection, the entire connection is made airtight and given a smooth flow profile.
There are many possible applications, including specific options for weighing and dosing techniques, Atex, food, chemicals, colour and metal detection.
