Description
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a high-performance fluoropolymer known for its excellent chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance, and low coefficient of friction. The material is non-porous, resistant to almost all acids, solvents, and bases, and remains stable at temperatures from –70°C to +260°C. A PTFE expansion joint combines the flexibility of a rubber connection with the durability and resistance of plastic, making it ideal for piping systems with aggressive media or high process temperatures. The high-quality, flexible connections They are resistant to extreme temperatures, compressive forces, and three-dimensional movements, resulting in leak-free connections. The expansion joints also have a long service life due to their complexity and high quality.
PTFE expansion joints are available for industries with additional hygiene and food safety requirements, such as food industry en pharma.
