Displacement ventilation is a ventilation system in which cooled, clean air is introduced at low velocity at floor level, pushing warm, polluted air upward. The low airflow makes this system ideal for use in cold storage areas and meat and vegetable processing departments where low temperatures and a high ventilation rate are essential. Both are achieved by this type of displacement ventilation.

What are the different categories of displacement ventilation?

Our fighting green stalks can be divided into two main categories:

1. Displacement air distribution hoses are made of fabric and deliver air into the room through tiny pores. This occurs at a low velocity (<0,1 m/s). The introduced air displaces existing contaminated air and ensures optimal air exchange.
2. Induction air distribution hoses These textile hoses inject air into the room at a higher velocity through strategically placed openings/nozzles. The air is intensively mixed with the ambient air, resulting in a rapid and even temperature distribution. This ensures consistent air quality, a stable indoor climate, and comfortable airflow.
