Silicone bellows and cuffs
One of the many flexible connections offered by Euro Manchetten & Compensatoren is silicone bellows and cuffs. These products are divided into 3 categories.
- The bellows are cast and therefore completely seamless, which increases the flexibility as well as the force the connection can withstand.
- The glued cuffs are custom-made from certified silicone sheet material. These cuffs are available in various thicknesses.
- Customized silicone bellows; the standard bellows can be adapted or modified according to customer requirements, for example with longer connection edges.
Description
A silicone bellows from Euro Manchetten & Compensatoren always has an FDA and ECC certificate, which means that they may also be used in the food industry. The food industry in particular works with strict safety requirements. It is therefore not without reason that our silicone bellows meet the strictest requirements.
Due to their extreme flexibility, silicone bellows hardly produce any reaction force, so they do not affect the weighing. They are highly resistant to chemicals, high temperatures and ageing. In addition, the bellows dampen the transfer of vibrations and noise. These connections are available in a standard length of 90mm and in various diameters ranging from Ø 40mm to Ø 350mm. This means that you will always find the right size silicone bellows with us.
However, the cuffs made of silicone are also certified. Their production takes place in a special room where specialists make these cuffs according to customer specifications.

Materials
Choice of two types of materials for the bellows
There are two different materials available for the silicone bellows. For fine powders, a static conductive rubber can be selected. If the bellows come into contact with foodstuffs, transparent silicone rubber that is FDA and ECC certified is preferred.

We have our own molds for making silicone bellows and prescribe the type of material it should be made of. Products that need to be food safe are always produced with suitable raw materials. On request we can even have the material tested for you at TNO, Triskelion, INBUREX or other authorizing institutions.
