Less resistance
The fewer turbulences in the airflow, the better and more economical the ventilation. To minimize resistance due to turbulences, it is better to use round ducts. A round shape with smooth transitions ensures a linear movement of the airflow. In addition, the use of more organic and smooth transitions promotes a much more even flow of ventilation air.
Preventing draughts
The lower air resistance ensures a lower air velocity which is required for a comfortable indoor climate. This has a positive effect in preventing draughts, which are usually caused by blowing in fresh air.
