Metal compensator
In industrial applications, flexible connections in piping systems and equipment often consist of a metal expansion joint, such as stainless steel or nickel. This material is used because other expansion joints are no longer sufficient under extreme conditions. In this case, a metal expansion joint is the ideal solution. Our expansion joints are used in pipes or between equipment and pipes to absorb and/or compensate for movement.
Description
Due to rapid technological developments, a metal expansion joint must also be suitable for use in very extreme conditions, such as varying high and low temperatures. Therefore, it is important that the metal expansion joint meets the strictest safety standards. This is guaranteed through, among other things, specific standards, the use of certified materials, the performance of final inspections, official approvals, and standardized calculation methods. This way, you are always assured of a metal expansion joint that meets the strictest safety requirements, regardless of whether the flexible connection is made of stainless steel or nickel.

A metal compensator is all about customer specificThat's why it's designed specifically for your application. You know how the product should work and what the metal expansion joint is intended for. You specify the requirements the expansion joint must meet: pressure, temperature, medium, movement, and all other technical specifications. Using a specialized calculation program, we then calculate the correct design, suitable materials, and lifespan, as well as the asking price. This gives you immediate insight into the costs.
Materials
A wide range of applicable materials is possible, ranging from carbon steel and austenitic stainless steels to nickel compounds such as Inconel, Incoloy and Hastelloy types or combinations of these with austenitic steels in multi-layer bellows.

The standard size range for our metal expansion joints is from DN 15 to DN 6000. Up to DN 12000 can be provided upon request.
